Breadee is a platform for managing food and beverage operations. This policy explains what data the platform processes, why it is processed, and the choices available to you. It applies to this website and to the Breadee application.

Data we process

Breadee processes two broad kinds of data: account data about the people who use the platform, and operational business data that tenants record while running their operation.

  • Account data: name, email address, role and authentication details for each user a tenant invites.
  • Business data: the operational records a tenant creates — materials, recipes, menus, suppliers, purchase orders, inventory movements, sales tickets, expenses and payroll entries.
  • Usage data: technical logs (such as sign-in events and errors) needed to keep the service secure and reliable.
  • Lead data: information you choose to send us through the contact or demo-request forms once they are live.

How we use data

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use one tenant's business data to benefit another tenant.

  • To provide the service: storing and displaying your operational records to authorized users of your tenant.
  • To keep tenants isolated: every record is scoped to its tenant and operating unit; one customer's data is never shown to another.
  • To secure the platform: authentication, access control and audit logs.
  • To respond when you contact us about the product.

AI assistant and your data

Breadee AI answers questions using the live operational data of your own tenant only. Conversations are stored per user within your tenant, and AI-drafted actions are never executed without an explicit preview and confirmation by an authorized user.

Where AI features rely on third-party model providers, requests are limited to what is needed to answer the question, and provider access is governed by our agreements with those providers.

When data is shared

  • Service providers: infrastructure vendors (hosting, database, email delivery) that process data on our behalf under contract.
  • Legal requirements: where disclosure is required by applicable law or a valid legal process.
  • With your direction: for example, when you export your own data or connect an integration you configure.

Data retention

Operational business data is retained for as long as the tenant's subscription is active, so that the operation's history (costs, stock and reports) remains usable. Files uploaded for AI processing follow stricter, shorter retention windows. When an account is closed, data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, subject to backup cycles and record-keeping obligations.

Security

Data is protected by tenant-level and operating-unit-level access controls enforced in the database layer, encrypted transport, role-based permissions inside each tenant, and audited administrative access. No system is perfectly secure, but access to your data is restricted to what each user's role allows.

Your choices and rights

Rights that apply to you may vary with the law of the place where you use the service; the reviewed version of this policy will state them precisely.

  • Access and correction: tenant owners manage their users and business records directly in the platform.
  • Deletion: you may request deletion of your account data.
  • Objection and complaints: you may raise any privacy concern with us using the contact page.
